Coffee and Conversation
Coffee & Conversation meets monthly, September through Spring. Sessions are usually on a Tuesday morning or evening, often the 3rd Tuesday of the month. The group gathers for coffee, treats, and conversation and listens to a presenter on a particular topic. Topics for the year often have a general theme. Participants are welcome to come to one or all sessions and can choose based on interest. Sessions have time for Q & A with the presenter. No pre-registration needed and sessions are free.
Refreshing Our Faith
Refreshing Our Faith is a 6 week adult faith formation opportunity that is offered twice a year. The fall session typically occurs in November-December, and the winter/spring session occurs in February-March. A variety of formats are offered, including bible studies, DVD series, and book clubs. Small group discussion is the foundation of this program.
Centering Prayer is held every Thursday, 6:00-7:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Centering Prayer offers the opportunity to experience contemplative prayer, becoming aware of God's presence and action within us. No registration or experience necessary.
Women and Wine - Friday, May 12
Our next evening will be May 12 at 7:00pm in the Atrium! Heidi Schleif and Brenda Lisenby will be sharing about the life of St. Jane de Chantal, who founded the Order of the Visitation (VHM) along with St. Francis de Sales in modern day France during the Counter-Reformation. We will learn the story of her life as a wife, mother, and later nun, as well as delve into her spiritual growth throughout her life and her deep friendship with St. Francis de Sales. Join us in the Atrium for lively discussion, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Register by calling the parish office or emailing Cindy Ley at email@example.com
